Ridgefield Public Schools Announces New Food Service Provider

Ridgefield Public Schools (RPS) announced this week that they have contracted with Aramark to be the District’s new food service provider. Aramark’s commitment to excellence, affordability, the environment, and diversity were all important in this decision.

RPS’s new Director of Food Service, Eric Nickelson has worked for Aramark since 2009 when he started as a student worker. A native of South Dakota, Nickelson brings a strong work ethic, years of food experience, and a passion for collaboration to the District.

RPS Director of Finance Jill Browne writes, “Families will see some new options in school menus. All schools will continue to utilize LunchTime SoftWare, so any balances from the prior year will be rolled into the current school year.”
