Ridgefield Running Company Partners with The Prospector Theater
A Community-Run Series Presented by The Prospector, Ridgefield Running Company, and On Running
In recognition of Global Running Day, Ridgefield Running Company is pleased to present “Running with The Prospector”, a summer series of community runs in Ballard Park with The Prospects, the employees at The Prospector Theater. We are making strides toward a more active and inclusive community.
“Running is for everyone! Through our partnership with The Prospector, we are excited to introduce running and the importance of forward movement to their employees, The Prospects”, said Megan Searfoss, owner of Ridgefield Running Company.
Our first run will be on Thursday, June 22. Meet at the Prospector at 6:00pm and “sneakers down” at 6:15. On Running shoes will be available for participants to demo on the run. Community runners will partner with Prospects for the run.
We will warm up with a walk to Ballard Park to run and afterward, runners will enjoy light refreshments back at the Prospector.
Our next community run with The Prospectors will be on Thursday, July 20th, and the grand finale, “The Reel Run”, will be on Thursday, August 17th, where On Running will be screening their “Right to Race” documentary afterward.
