Ridgefield on Halloween: Main Street, Nightmare on New, Police Trunk or Treat at Lounsbury and the Forecast!

Halloween in Ridgefield. A photo is worth a thousand words. Thanks, Jess Collins for capturing the magic (a few years back).

Wow, on the heels of a fabulous Halloween Walk, tomorrow, October 31 is THE day - Halloween!  And, Ridgefield knows a thing of two about HOW to Halloween!

Main Street

Main Street will be transformed into a costumed wonderland with candy and treats in abundance!

Ridgefield Police Department Trunk or Treat

The Ridgefield Police Department will host their annual Trunk or Treat outdoor event from 5:00pm-8:30pm at the Lounsbury House on Halloween, Tuesday, October 31!

This event is FREE and intended for children of all ages! While you are strolling down Main Street in your Halloween finest, stop into the Lounsbury House for this fun party.

Please note this is an outdoor-only event.

New Street

The Halloween spectacle of all spectacles! If you know, you know. Ridgefield police have confirmed that New Street will be CLOSED from 6 to 11pm so the many (hundreds? thousands?) of trick-or-treaters can experience the nightmare (house) on New (thank you, Mr. Halloween - aka Bill Franzen).

For costume planning purposes, the forecast is for partly sunny skies tomorrow, Tuesday, October 31. As the night falls, expect party cloudy skies with temperatures dipping to 33 degrees.
