Three questions with Elizabeth Pandich, founder of Limelight Farm.
Why did you start your business?
I started Limelight Farm in an effort to bring what I feel to be a balance of safety, fun, and competitiveness in one stable. We have a wonderfully diverse group of riders that each bring something special to our family-friendly atmosphere.
How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?
We utilize many small businesses in Ridgefield. We enjoy both local hardware stores; Ridgefield Supply and Ace [Ridgefield] Hardware. We frequent Parma Deli for the delicious breakfasts and lunches to keep our staff fueled up. And personally, I love the Toy Chest for presents and puzzles! Finally, we recommend several restaurants to clients (and enjoy ourselves), our favorites being Luc’s and the Lantern.
I would say that we have started to focus more on sales horses and ponies. We have spent more time and resources on scouting prospects here in the northeast and abroad that we feel represent our brand.
