Kathryn Madaloni ’16 Volunteers with Warrior Hike
Earlier this fall, Kathryn Madaloni ’16, dedicated her time and effort to support the local Warrior Hike in Ridgefield, CT. She volunteered for an evening at the local fundraising event. Warrior Hike Executive Director, Sean Gobin, shared, “We were very grateful for her participation and wish to acknowledge her outstanding efforts.”
In addition to the hours spent volunteering, Kathryn initiated a “Dress Down Day” at Wooster School to support Warrior Hike. Her efforts, along with the many students and staff who supported the dress down day, raised $387 that was donated to Warrior Hike.
Sean Gobin noted, “Warrior Hike’s ‘Walk Off The War’ program is supported through grants and donations. Volunteers such as Kathryn allow us to dedicate nearly all of our resources to directly support veterans who desire to use the outdoors as a means to transition from their military service.”
