The sweet sounds of the RSO at Deborah Ann's Sweet Shoppe

On Saturday, December 5, the uplifting sounds of the season were ringing throughout Ridgefield when Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra (RSO) Music Director & Conductor Jerry Steichen and friends brought their instruments to Deborah Ann’s Sweet Shoppe on Main Street during the annual Holiday Stroll.

Musicians Kathleen Theisen (keyboard), T.D. Ellis and Jackie Joyner (bassoon), and Rachel Handman (violin) made music magic at Deborah Ann’s while shoppers took pleasure in purchasing homemade ice cream and chocolates.Joining the pros were Alice and Emily Kerr (violin) from the Western Connecticut Youth Orchestra. That evening, the RSO put on a holiday extravaganza that featured the multi-talented vocalist Jessica Medoff who performed a new arrangement of “O Holy Night”, which brought down the house.

A merry reception was held at the Guild of Artists after the concert.
