Yesterday, Sunday, July 17, Ridgefield's Memory Lane Cruisers hosted Cruising for Justin on Governor Street ("Old" Balducci's parking lot). The classic car show benefited Justin Cowen, a young Ridgefielder battling Osteosarcoma, a form of bone cancer.
Among the prizes was "Best Original", an award bestowed upon Ridgefield Police for their 1951 Ford.
"We are proud to report that the Ridgefield Police Unions 1951 Ford received the trophy for "Best Original" at this past weekends Cruising For Justin car show. More importantly, the event raised almost $3,000.00 for Justin and his family," Ridgefield Police wrote on their Facebook Page.
