Ridgefield Artist featured in “Art to the Avenue”
Clarice Shirvell, Ridgefield artist known for her acrylic paintings of local landscapes along with pen & ink drawings, has been selected to participate in the Greenwich Art Council’s “Art to the Avenue” event. From May 4th through May 29th Greenwich Avenue becomes a strolling art gallery. On opening night, Thursday May 4th from 5:30- 8pm, Clarice Shirvell’s Paintings will be featured at the Allen Edmond’s shop at 113 Greenwich Avenue, they will be hosting a public reception for the artist.
This year’s “Art to the Avenue” will be a truly spectacular show as it marks their 20th anniversary. May 4th will be an evening of music, dancing, street performers, as most retailers will host open receptions for the hundreds of visitors who attend to preview the works of over 120 artists.
