Clarice Shirvell, Ridgefield artist known for her acrylic paintings of local landscapes along with pen & ink drawings, has been selected to participate in the Greenwich Art Council’s “Art to the Avenue” event. This year’s “Art to the Avenue” will be a truly spectacular show as it marks their 20th anniversary. May 4th will be an evening of music, dancing, street performers, as most retailers will host open receptions for the hundreds of visitors who attend to preview the works of over 120 artists.

All the art on display is for sale, and a 30% tax deduction for the purchaser benefits GAC Art in Public Schools Programs. The art selected by the retailers remains in place through Memorial Day, so there is ample time for viewers to experience the “gallery” that downtown Greenwich becomes.

A complete Map/Guide is published listing all participants, so that individual shops, artists and locations are easy to locate which can be found at:  http://www.greenwichartscouncil.org/2017_Map.pdf
