Safe at Home, School and Everywhere in Between
Hundreds of locals descended upon the Danbury Fair Mall today to participate in the 11th Annual 4k SafeWalk - the Women's Center's premier event to unite the community in their mission to end domestic violence and raise much needed funds to support their programs.
A big shout-out to Ridgefield resident Alex Fischetti who, for three consecutive years, has been the event's top fundraiser. Alex secured $8,488 in donations this year. To date, his SafeWalk donations are more than $25,000!
Alex remarked, "God BLESS my buddies Lori [Berisford] and Elaine [Cox] for their inspiration and mentorship that has helped shape the philanthropic volunteering spirit I have today!
