Why Small Businesses Matter

Shop small, do big things for your community

Let’s make 2018 a big year for our Ridgefield small businesses and put a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community.

Three questions with Suki Schavoir

Why did you start your business?

I worked at a graphic design/printing firm in Mt. Kisco for many years and I developed carpal tunnel syndrome at the same time as my biggest client at that job was retiring, so I decided it was time for a change. Before I decided what my next would be, people started calling me to do work for them before I had decided what my next move was - so I really fell into my own business! I have worked with lots of really great local people and businesses here.

Best selling product/service?

Ads, brochures, and logos.

How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?

Economy Printing (now in Danbury), Ridgefield Printing (now Typographic Services in Bethel), and UPS Store.

I tag The Angel Cooperative!
