Ridgefield resident Evelyn Carr won First Place in the Forte International Music Competition at Carnegie Hall. Evelyn competed in the first and semi-final rounds in December and was invited to perform as a soloist in the final round concert in the Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall in February.
Evelyn is known to many Ridgefielders as the singer for the American Legion, and she enjoys honoring our Veterans and Military by singing at their events. She is very thankful for the support of the whole Ridgefield community.
