They had their own social group made up of these friends and neighbors.  One of the other pastimes that Anne found rewarding was decorating her home.   In her senior years, Anne was active in various senior groups in the towns of Tuckahoe and Eastchester in Westchester County, New York.  She loved to play cards and bingo.  She also enjoyed going to shows with her senior groups and sitting outdoors on beautiful sunny days.

In 2010 Anne moved to Ridgefield, Connecticut and resided at Ridgefield Crossings to be closer to her daughter.  While being part the Ridgefield Crossings Community Anne was happy to participate in activities offered.  She even brought one of her favorite card games with her “May I” and taught it to several of her new found friends when she first arrived.  Anne was known to be friendly and enjoyed being around people.  Her biggest joy was being a grandmother and would tell anyone who would listen she was a Great-grandmother and was incredibly proud of it.
