PepsiCo leads growing sponsor list of Ridgefield Independent Film Festival

PepsiCo is the latest company to provide sponsorship support for the Ridgefield Independent Film Festival (RIFF). The addition of the international beverage brand is a significant step in RIFF's community outreach and impact.

“We’re thrilled to have Pepsi’s important sponsorship, as well as their products as the official soft drink of RIFF," says executive director Geoffrey Morris. "It’s also really great to have them support our overall mission to bring great films to Ridgefield".

PepsiCo joins many other companies (Nicholson Entertainment, Abbey Party Rentals, and University Archives), local businesses, (Ancona’s Wines & Liquors, The Cake Box, Rockwell Art & Framing, Rodier Flowers), media sponsors (TownVibe and HamletHub), civic organizations (Ridgefield Arts Council and the Rotary Club of Ridgefield), and venue partners (The Ridgefield Playhouse, Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, Keeler Tavern Museum, the Ridgefield Library and the new A Contemporary Theatre of Connecticut - ACT) to help RIFF kick-off its 2018 Event Season.

"It's really fantastic how many people and organizations are lining up to support us," says Festival Director Megan Smith-Harris. "We're really working hard to reach out and engage everyone through our commitment to bring important film events and internationally recognized festival to Ridgefield."

RIFF’s recent Red Carpet Oscar® Screening Gala at the Aldrich was a big success which raised over $20,000 to help fund an ambitious slate of screening events and parties leading up to the new festival dates in the fall, October 18th through the 21st, starting with next month’s filmmaker screening of a new Jane Goodall documentary at the Ridgefield Playhouse on April 24th, followed by another special guest screening of the new HBO documentary on Elvis Presley in May.

More information and tickets are available at RIFFct.org.

The Ridgefield Playhouse will serve as home base for the festival, but many RIFF events will be co-sponsored or held at various locations around town throughout the year. The festival itself will present a slate of diverse films, special guests, related events and parties over its four days in October.

Submission window for entries to RIFF begins March 20th, 2018 and closes August 15th, 2018. Submit your film HERE.

RIFF All-Access 2018 Founder’s Passes, which allow holders to attend all events all year, and various other Memberships and ticket packages are available online.

Sponsorship and Underwriting support can be made on a tax-deductible basis through RIFF’s 501(c)(3) status.
