Danny, Sandy, Rizzo, Teen Angel and friends are getting ready to bring you back to the fantastic 50s this April! GREASE, the stage play combined with music from the popular movie, will be performed April 26, 27 & 28 at Immaculate High School in Danbury, CT. Tickets are now on sale and sell out quickly! Tickets are $25 for reserved seating, $20 for adults and $15 for students/seniors. Several Ridgefield residents star in this production (see below).
The full cast will give audiences a preview of what is to come at IHS when it performs a few songs at the Ridgefield Playhouse on Wednesday, April 11. The Ridgefield Playhouse will show the 1978 movie version of the musical GREASE in celebration of the movie's 40th anniversary, and the IHS cast of GREASE (in full costume) will perform selections from its production prior to the movie. The audience that evening will be treated to live performances of such songs as "Summer Nights," "Greased Lightnin'," and "You're The One That I Want."
Time traveling back to the 1950s takes a lot of effort! Student performers and crew members are seeking sponsorships and program ads from the community to help support their hard work on putting on another grand show.
