Beloved Ridgefield Library Assistant Director, Mary F. Rindfleisch of Sherman, CT passed away on April 5. According to an obituary published today in the Newstimes, there will be a celebration of Mary's life at a later date.
The Newstimes said, "Her interests were broad, her energy immeasurable and her impact wide."
"Mary was one of the first women to graduate from Philips Exeter Academy. She attained a bachelor's degree, magna cum laude, in comparative literature from Wesleyan University, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Later she earned a master's degree in library science from Southern Connecticut State University," the Newstimes reports.
