Keeler Tavern to honor John and Phyllis Robertson at Cannonball Gala on Saturday, May 12

Keeler Tavern Museum and History Center (KTMHC) will be hosting its annual Cannonball Gala on Saturday, May 12 in the Garden House at KTMHC.

The Cannonball Gala is a major fundraiser for the museum, supporting its general operating budget, which allows KTMHC to continue to preserve Ridgefield's treasured landmark and to offer engaging and insightful programing. This evening fundraiser will feature cocktails in the garden, live music, auctions, and sit-down dinner by Tom Devine from Ciao! Catering and Events/Two Steps Downtown Grille.

At the evening's festivities, KTMHC will honor Phyllis and John Robertson, long-time supporters and volunteers of the museum, with a presentation of the Cannonball Award. Mrs. Robertson serves on the museum's Board of Directors and Board of Trustees and was President of the Board from 1992 to 1996. She organized many programs and events at the museum, including as a member of the Gala committee, and as chair of the museum's annual Christmas Luncheons. Mr. Robertson has assisted the museum in donating his time and energy in helping to restore several of the museum's pieces antique furniture.  As a pair, the Robertsons were instrumental in the organization and running of KTMHC's popular Antiques and Treasures Sale for over 20 years.

The gala is from 6 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $150 per person; sponsorship opportunities are also available. Tickets and sponsorships may be purchased online at keelertavernmuseum.org, or by calling the business office at 203-438-5485. Keeler Tavern Museum and History Center is located at 132 Main Street, Ridgefield.
