Fairfield County Bank Promotes Sandra Martins, Laura Silver, and Alan Zvonkovic

Fairfield County Bank promoted Sandra Sousa-Martins to Vice President of Retail Banking Audit, Compliance and Training, Laura Silver to Assistant Vice President, Marketing, and Alan Zvonkovic to Assistant Vice President, Call Center.

Sandra Sousa-Martins joined the Bank is 2007 holding keys roles in the Retail Banking Department. Before joining the Bank, Sandra was a Financial Service Supervisor at Webster Bank. As the Vice President of Retail Banking Audit, Compliance and Training, Mrs. Martins will oversee the new hire teller training, internal audit administration and become the Retail Banking Compliance Officer. Sandra graduated from Western Connecticut State University, the Connecticut School of Finance and Management (CSFM), and the American Bankers Association (ABA) Foundational Compliance School. Outside of work, Sandra enjoys volunteering at the Danbury Women’s Center and the United Way. She currently resides in New Milford with her husband and two children.

Laura Silver was recently promoted to Assistant Vice President of Marketing. Mrs. Silver joined the Bank in 2007 as a Marketing Assistant with Fairfield County Bank Insurance Services. In 2013, Laura was hired by Fairfield County Bank as the Marketing Assistant, later becoming the Assistant Marketing Manager. In 2016, she was promoted to Associate Vice President, Marketing Manager. In her new role, Mrs. Silver is responsible for brand management, implementing strategies pertaining to content marketing, social media, multi-channel advertising, and the management of the Marketing Department. Laura graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science Degree with Magna Cum Laude honors. She is also a graduate of CSFM. Ms. Silver currently resides in Danbury with her husband and three children and actively volunteers at The Ridgefield Playhouse’s Arts in Education at The Ridgefield Playhouse.

Alan Zvonkovic joined the Bank in 2007 as the Call Center Supervisor and then promoted to Call Center Manager in 2014. In his new role as Assistant Vice President, Alan is responsible for leading the Call Center by setting goals and performance standards and makes certain sales and call quality goals are achieved. Mr. Zvonkovic ensures the Call Center operates efficiently by meeting customer needs promptly. Alan graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from New England College of Business and received an Associate of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Housatonic Community College. Alan is a proud supporter of the United States Military and Marine Corps. Mr. Zvonkovic and his wife reside in Fairfield and have a son that is a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps.
