HamletHub Welcome RHS Senior Intern Michael Heller!

It's spring and Ridgefield High School seniors have flocked to various local businesses and nonprofits for their grand "high school" finale - INTERNSHIPS!

Here at HamletHub, we are thrilled to welcome Michael Heller (aka "Mikey"). He will be working with our technology team and Amazon Developer Services to code voice command "Echo Skills," allowing easier access to HamletHub's stories and information.

Michael Heller is a graduating senior at Ridgefield High School and is participating in the Spring internship program here at HamletHub.  He is a life-long Ridgefield resident and has been involved in the community as an athlete and a volunteer. Currently, Michael is a pitcher on the RHS Varsity Baseball team, which is looking to make a run in the state tournament next week.  Throughout his four years at RHS, Michael has enjoyed being a part of the Ski Team, the Baseball program, and the high school RBA league.

Michael has been involved in community service since middle school, as he is an active member of Lion’s Heart Community Service, volunteered in the Best Buddies Holland League, and spent time as an LIT for the Ridgefield Boy’s and Girl’s Club.  His favorite role in giving back to the community has been coaching 5th, 6th, and 7th grade basketball players for the RBA youth league. Michael’s hobbies include playing pickup basketball, playing guitar, computer coding, listening to music, skiing, and spending time with family and friends.  He is a die-hard Cleveland Indians, Browns, and Cavaliers fan as well. Starting in the fall semester Michael will be attending Bucknell University where he will be majoring in Computer Science and Economics.

Fun Fact:  Michael’s favorite band of all time is the Red Hot Chili Peppers.  He’s listened to over 110 songs by the group.
