Ridgefield High School Class of 2018 Graduates on Friday!

And...they're (almost) off!

Congratulations to the Ridgefield High School Class of 2018 who will graduate this  Friday, June 22nd in the O’Neill Center at Western Connecticut State University at 4 PM.

The school’s one-hundred-second annual commencement will begin with a Bagpipe Processional and ceremonial Pledge of Allegiance and National Anthem.

Graduation speakers include Class of 2018 President, Maia Clarkin; Class Speaker, Mr. Brandon Grizzaffi; Valedictorian, and Raymond Sun. The Faculty Speaker chosen by the Class of 2018 is Ms. Jennifer DeJulio who was named the 2018 Teacher of the Year at RHS.

Ridgefield High School principal Dr. Stacey Gross said, “The Class of 2018 is enthusiastic, intelligent, sensitive, athletic and civic-minded. As a class, and as individuals, they should be proud of all they’ve accomplished. I am confident that they will experience success as they enter the worlds of post-secondary education, the military or work.  I wish them much happiness and luck as they pursue their future dreams.”

There are no tickets necessary to attend the commencement exercises on Friday but the high school asks that graduates limit guests to four. Students should enter Gate #3 at WCSU. The guest entrance is Gate #1. Doors will open at 3:00 pm.
