East Ridge Middle School's Team 1 seventh graders in Elizabeth Misiewicz's English class recently composed poetry inspired by Benjamin Moore Color Stories paint swatches donated by the Ridgefield Supply Company.
Students selected a color swatch and wrote a 'Summer Memory' poem. Their poems were made into four booklets that have been distributed throughout Ridgefield Supply Company and will be on display through the end of June. Students voted on the top 12 poems, and then there was a raffle, where two students, Motria Holian and Kelly Stevenson, were each awarded a $50 gift card to Ridgefield Supply Company.
