The Women's Center announced today that Ridgefield resident Alex Fischetti will serve as the nonprofit's inaugural Honorary SafeWalk Chair.
For three consecutive years, Alex been the event's top fundraiser. To date, his SafeWalk donations total more than $25,000!
"Alex has been an integral member of our SafeWalk committee and has worked tirelessly to support the Women's Center!" the Center said.
SafeWalk, a 4K Walk that is held annually at Danbury Fair Mall, is the Women's Center premier event to unite the Community with the Center's mission to end domestic violence while raising much-needed funds to support Women's Center programs.
In 2017, hundreds of walkers from the Greater Danbury area participated in SafeWalk with nearly $70,000 total dollars raised!
