Individual concert tickets are on sale now for the exciting, engaging and entertaining 2018-19 Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra season!

The upcoming concerts feature performances of some of the most marvelous pieces ever written for orchestra, along with appearances by two extraordinary soloists, Tessa Lark and Jay Campbell. The entire season will be under the direction of RSO Music Director Yuga Cohler.

The season kicks off on October 6th with Beethoven’s Symphony No. 1 and Bartok’s Concerto for Orchestra. Both pieces highlighting the marvelous musicians of the RSO! On December 1st experience a concert all about love, with Tchaikovsky’s Overture from Romeo and Juliet, Brahms’ Symphony No. 2 and a performance by award-winning and captivating violinist Tessa Lark of a piece written specifically for her entitled Love Letter. On March 16th, the orchestra will perform the intriguing Six Pieces for Orchestra by Anton Webern and Trittico Botticelliano by Ottorino Respighi, and acclaimed cellist Jay Campbell will join the orchestra for a performance of the virtuosic Haydn’s Cello Concerto in C Major. The May 11th concert concludes the season with Stravinsky’s powerful Rite of Spring and Schumann’s beautiful Symphony No. 1 “Spring”.
