Keebler elves come to Ridgefield

In early 2018, the famous Keebler elves moved to Ridgefield to get away from the crazy cookie life. Escaping the stressful business, the elves found a beautiful tree on Spring Valley Road with a beautiful, sprawling backyard. This spring, passersby noticed a building permit sign next to the whimsical home. It read, “Let it be known that this is an official Building Permit. Issued by the state (of happiness and goodwill.)” Construction ensued.

Following renovations, Spring Valley neighbors and the walking/running community added a plethora of decorations to the whimsical tree house; including inspirational rocks, handmade mosaics, potted plants, a mailbox, a wreath, and fairy lights.

We have learned that the elves plan to summer in Ridgefield.  After returning to the cookie business, the elves will visit their cottage on the weekends and may list their home on Airbnb or rent it out to Snap, Crackle, and Pop, the Rice Krispie elves.

If you would like to visit their home the elves ask that you please do not disturb their current decor but additional ornamentation is gladly accepted!

The elves are also looking for a pro bono contractor who could make a balcony for their second story window.

P.S Don’t forget to check the mailbox.
