Tyler Carey and Tara Mazur, two of Ridgefield High School’s former stage stars, will be featured in “Fresh Baked Musicals: A Concert Sampling” at the Brookfield Theatre for the Arts on August 4th at 7 pm. Broadway and film composer-lyricist Stephen Schwartz will attend the concert that features one of his songs from a new musical. In addition to Schwartz’s piece, the audience will enjoy comic, romantic, and dramatic songs from new musicals. A reception follows the concert.
Fresh Baked Musicals also showcases the talents of two special guest artists who have performed on Broadway: Raissa Katona Bennett and Greg Roderick. Musical direction is by another Broadway performer, Jerold Goldstein. Other singers include: Pam DeHuff, Kelsey Morris, Kennedy Morris, Megan O'Callaghan, Dan Satter, Melanie Votaw, and Morgana Kate Watson.
