Ridgefield Chamber Executive Director Announces Resignation

Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Jennifer Zinzi announced today that she will be leaving her position on August 3, 2018.  Zinzi was appointed Executive Director in October of 2015 succeeding Susan Ahlstrom.

In a letter to Chamber members, Zinzi said, "It is with mixed emotions that I share with you my last day with the Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce will be on August 3. While I am very excited for my new opportunity, I will genuinely miss my role of serving you, our valued Chamber members and the wonderful community that has become my second home."

Zinzi told HamletHub that she has taken a position as Regional Sales Director for Danbury-based Regional Hospice and Palliative Care.

At the helm of the Chamber, Zinzi successfully organized and orchestrated many community events including Summerfest, The Women's Forum, The Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!), The Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off, and a host of Ribbon Cuttings to welcome new businesses to Ridgefield. Under her guidance, the Chamber moved its headquarters from Bailey Ave to Grove Street.

"Since joining the Chamber as Executive Director, we have had great success in growing and evolving to keep up with the changing business climate. We work tirelessly to add value and support the community and I thank each of you for taking this journey with me. The dedication of our members, community partners and Town is unparalleled and admired near and far," said Zinzi.

We wish Jennifer much success. Thank you for all you have done to enhance commerce and community in our amazing town.
