Ridgefield Food Pantry Calls for Help and Young Resident Answers - On her Birthday

HamletHub and local Facebook sites have posted about the Ridgefield Food Pantry, operated by Ridgefield Social Services, being in dire need of donations. 

This morning, Ridgefield Social Services received a visit from a young resident who celebrated her birthday by helping those in need. Here's what Ridgefield Social Services wrote on their Facebook Page:

"This morning, we were visited by Miriam and Alexander from Ridgefield. Miriam had a recent birthday party where she asked her guests to bring something to share with the pantry. She also went shopping to get items to donate. Today she donated 3 bags of pasta, mac'n cheese and her favorites applesauce!"

And what Miriam said next is living testimony that in giving, you receive, "As she jumped on the elevator we heard Miriam say to her mom, "I want to keep doing this until College. No...until I'm an adult!"
