Fairfield County Bank and their employees have been longtime supporters of The Women’s Center and participated in SafeWalk since its inception.

While their support for The Women’s Center began in 2003, Fairfield County Bank employees formed their team “Strength in Numbers” in 2007 and they have walked proudly and raised funds for SafeWalk every year since. This year, twenty-five bank employees will participate in SafeWalk. Support their team, "Strength in Numbers" here.

Why do the employees at Fairfield County Bank walk?

Here’s what they have to say:

The Women’s Center’s vision of ending violence against women, men, and children is one that Fairfield County Bank strongly stands behind. Choosing to support the Women’s Center and specifically participate in the SafeWalk was an easy decision as it is near and dear to many of our employees including Kathy Graham, Vice President and Branch Manager of our Main Street office in Ridgefield. Kathy, Women’s Center Advisory Council member, has personally been volunteering countless hours of her own time since 2004 and in 2015 was the recipient of the Service Above Self award. Our Community is very fortunate, and the Bank is incredibly grateful to have a non-profit such as the Women’s Center providing prevention, crisis intervention, and support services to our neighbors in need. Fairfield County Bank and their Strength in Numbers team is honored to be a part of the Safe Walk for the 12th year in a row and to help raise money to fund the many services the Women’s Center offers. #WeAreFairfieldCounty

Fairfield County Bank’s "Strength in Numbers"  has a fundraising goal of $10,000 for the Women’s Center of Greater Danbury. Help their team of twenty-five employees meet their goal by supporting them here.
