Ridgefield Professional Firefighters kicked off the month of October by wearing pink to promote Breast Cancer Awareness and raise funds for the cause.
All members of Local 1739 Professional Firefighters will be wearing pink throughout the month of October in support. They will also be selling tee-shirts with proceeds supporting breast cancer research. They will announce details regarding the tee-shirt fundraiser soon, according to their Facebook Page.
