On the heels of leading Hamilton College to a fantastic finish at Saratoga Cross Country Invitational, Grace Heller of Ridgefield was selected the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Women's Cross Country Performer of the Week!

Hamilton College Cross Country says, "Heller posted a personal-record time of 17:52.8 and finished third out of 192 runners on the 5-kilometer course at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's 2018 Saratoga Cross Country Invitational on Sept. 29. Heller ended up just 2.8 seconds behind the race winner. She competed in the 2017 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships."

According to Hamilton, the Continentals finished in fifth place out of 16 teams at Saratoga Spa State Park in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. All four teams that finished ahead of Hamilton were nationally ranked. Hamilton is ranked seventh in the Division III Atlantic Region by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
