Ridgefield Plan of Conservation and Development (POCD) Community Online Surveys!

Surveys Open Until December 3

As part of the process of updating the Plan of Conservation and Development for Ridgefield, the Planning and Zoning Commission will be conducting surveys of Ridgefield residents. Surveys are open until December 3.

The first survey is an online survey intended to learn about what issues should be given increased attention in the updated Plan. The survey is available to all people, 18 years of age and older, who live or work in Ridgefield. Click HERE to take the survey. One survey response per device will be accepted.

The survey questions have been designed to help the Planning and Zoning Commission better understand issues of concern to Ridgefield residents. The results of the survey will be integrated into the Plan of Conservation and Development which is slated for adoption in 2020. The current Town Plan is available on the Town website.

A Plan of Conservation and Development is an advisory document used by the Planning and Zoning Commission and other Town agencies to:

  • Protect the resources important to residents
  • Guide growth and change in Ridgefield
  • Identify facilities and services needed to support the community we want to be

Ridgefield residents are encouraged to participate!
