Ridgefield REALTORS® Give Back to their Community

Ridgefield REALTORS® (RBOR) donate over $900 to the Ridgefield and Redding Social Services to help their neighbors in need.

Pictured above are REALTORS Jefferson Guthrie and Colette Kabasakalian with Ridgefield Social Services Director Tony Phillips, and Angelica Fontanez, Redding Social Services Director with REALTOR Posie Morgan.  Annually, with monies collected through the friendly Turkey Wars competition among local REALTOR offices and at the Installation and Holiday Party, Ridgefield REALTORS give back to the communities where they live and work. Ridgefield REALTORS manned the Salvation Army’s Red Buckets at the town Holiday Stroll on December 7th & 8th and collected over $1162, 90% of which goes to Ridgefield Social Services.

Toni Riordan 2019 RBOR President, saluted her fellow REALTORS saying, “I congratulate Mary Pat Sexton, 2018 RBOR President, the leadership team and the Ridgefield REALTORS for their dedication and commitment to our community. REALTORS are an integral part of building strong and vibrant communities”. “I want to thank the members of the Ridgefield Board of REALTORS who so generously gave their time and money to help our neighbors and fellow residents.” she added.

The Ridgefield Board of REALTORS® (RBOR), chartered in 1961 by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), is a local not-for-profit professional trade organization. It is the leading advocate for private property rights, housing and the real estate profession. According to the 2018 NAR Community Aid and Real Estate Report (C.A.R.E) over 80% of the 1.3 million REALTORS nationwide donate to their communities annually. REALTORS® do more than sell houses, they build communities, striving every day to improve the quality of life in the communities where they live and work.
