Ridgefield Residents Laura Gustafson and Courtney Carbone Return After Studying Abroad

Students return from studying globally this past fall

At Gettysburg, students use the opportunity to study globally to pursue diverse paths in multiple areas of study. Over 200 students studied globally in the Fall 2018 semester, representing over 30 majors in over 25 countries.

Courtney Carbone studied abroad in Spain. Courtney is majoring in Psychology and Laura Gustafson studied abroad in Denmark. Laura is majoring in Psychology.

Founded in 1832, Gettysburg College is a highly selective four-year residential college of liberal arts and sciences with a strong academic tradition. Alumni include Rhodes Scholars, a Nobel laureate, and other distinguished scholars. The college enrolls 2,600 undergraduate students and is located on a 200-acre campus adjacent to the Gettysburg National Military Park in Pennsylvania.
