The Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield just received even more exciting news from Boys & Girls Clubs of America! The Club announced on Facebook that their Torch Clubs won two National Program Awards, bringing their grand total to 7 awards in the past 3 years!
They won 1st Place in the core area of Health and Fitness for their Glow in the Dark Laser Tag Night, and 2nd place in the area of Service to the Club and Community for their year-long Seasons of Kindness events with their friends at Ridgefield Crossings.
There are only 6 Torch Club Programmatic Awards given out each year, and all 4,600 Club's Nationwide and Overseas are eligible to win - The Club's Torch Club keeps coming out on top! These awards are sponsored by Old Navy, and the Torch Club will receive a $4,000 grant for their hard work.
