Ridgefield Fire Department offers congratulations to their Captain Rick Lawlor who recently completed his Deacon Ordination.
The Fire Department explains, "Rick started this journey over 5 1/2 years ago to become a Deacon. Through hard work and determination, his goal was finally achieved."
Rick will be stationed at St. Mary's in Ridgefield, just one block from the Firehouse!
"If you attend Mass at St. Mary or walking by the Firehouse, stop in to say hello and congratulate Rick," his fellow firefighters say.
Since Rick is the Captain of the "A" shift, they are now known as the "A-men".
"Do we now fill the trucks up with Holy Water?' asks the Fire Department.
