Ridgefield Rebels 12u Girls Softball Team calls Brooke Blake "their local hero" and raises $828.00 to support Brooke and her family!
While most of the girls on the Ridgefield Rebels team have never met Brooke Blake, they "Believe in Brooke". Last weekend, during a tournament in Westborough, MA., the athletes and their families joined in solidarity - hitting, catching, running and sliding for Brooke. "Each family could donate [a dollar amount] for their child's hits or plays during the game," explains Susan Surette, mom of one of the players.
After Tournament days filled with hitting, catching popouts, and sliding home, the girls raised a grand total of $828.00!
R
