Ridgefield Letter: Where Does Aquifer Protection Belong?

Hi friends and neighbors

For all the arguments given and the proven disregard for objectivity and consideration to the well-being of our town not only for now, but for future generations by the P&Z Commission, we, Marie (Otty) and Ozzie Inglese totally agree with the decision to seek new members for both P&Z and the recently voted for separation Inland Wetland Board. This new board should not be serving as subservient to P&Z or the Selectman but should be an autonomous body with the full right to agree or disagree with an application (due to health restraints) and to add conditions as needed.

Also at this time, the Inland Wetland Board should have jurisdiction over the Aquifer Protection Regulations.

Due to health issues, we cannot actively participate with the group, but we will like to be included in the voting, writing or phoning.
