Compassionate Sportsmanship Award
The Compassionate Ridgefield Team is pleased to sponsor Ridgefield's Compassionate Sportsmanship Award.
Occasionally, we as athletes, fans and coaches have the opportunity to witness an act of sportsmanship that is selfless, humble, compassionate and invokes a positive feeling that tugs at your heart. These are the acts we want to celebrate!
The Compassionate Sportsmanship Award will be given to a nominated athlete/player, coach, parent, team or sports official who has demonstrated a true act of compassionate sportsmanship during an athletic practice, game or event.
Nominations should include a written story describing the inspiring act and contact information. Photos or videos can also be shared. Up to two winners will be selected each year. Winners will meet our First Selectman Rudy Marconi, receive a trophy and enjoy recognition in local media outlets.
Thank you in advance for your nomination and promoting compassionate sportsmanship in Ridgefield!
