Ridgefield Professional Firefighters announced on their Facebook Page that Captain Tony Cerulli has earned his Fire Administration degree. They said, "Please join us in Congratulating Captain Tony Cerulli on completing his Bachelor Degree. Tony's major is Fire Administration which focuses on Human Resources, the Budgeting Process and Incident Command."
Captain Cerulli has been with the Ridgefield Professional Firefighters since 1999 and was promoted to Lieutenant in 2014, and then to Captain of "C" shift in 2018.
"This achievement embodies the philosophy of the Fire Administration with Chief Myers and Chief Tappe before him, that training and education is a top priority, and are fully supportive of members in their pursuit to further their academic achievements. This, coupled with the fact that we serve the greatest community in Fairfield County makes our members truly The Best In The Business," his fellow firefighters said.
