The wood pallets have arrived which means...the pumpkins can't be far behind! The Patch opens on September 28!
It's a seasonal rite of passage and a beloved Ridgefield tradition - picking pumpkins at the Jesse Lee Pumpkin Patch. Many hands make light work! On Saturday, September 28 and Saturday, October 12 at 9 a.m. Jesse Lee invites the community for fall fellowship, fun and a bit of fitness as they unload the first and second trucks for the Jesse Lee Pumpkin Patch.
Jesse Lee Pumpkin Patch is a mission of Jesse Lee Memorial United Methodist Church. Operating annually from mid-September through Halloween Day, the patch sells pumpkins grown on a Navajo reservation in New Mexico. Proceeds from pumpkin sales support the Navajo people who grow the pumpkins as well as the many missions of the church.
It takes a lot of hands to stock, staff and make this annual philanthropy a success, so please bring yourself, your spouse, your kids, your friends and neighbors!
