Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance Adds Fall Classes, Adults Dance FREE in October

Still Time to Dance this Fall at Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance

Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance (RCD) Fall Semester is presently underway and runs through December 7. There is still availability in some classes and, due to demand, RCD has added an array of classes for young dancers. Did you know? The nonprofit dance studio offers trial classes. “The first class is always free,” says Amy Piantaggini, RCD Executive Director.

FREE Adult Classes in October

“Adults dance free for the whole month of October,” says Piantaggini. “It’s a way to give back to our community,” she adds.

  • Adult beginner ballet Thursday nights with Grace Reddy 715 to 845
  • Adult intermediate ballet Fridays with Edgar Cortes 12 to 130.

The nonprofit dance school which offers classes for ages 2 to adulthood, boasts Harlequin brand sprung flooring, Wifi for students, a convenient downtown location, and accomplished faculty, many of whom perform internationally (Katie Czyr and Danielle Marie Fusco will dance in Mexico with Dzul Dance, and Edgar Cortes and Executive Director Amy Piantaggini will perform in Portugal at MAR, an international dance festival).

RCD is more than a dance studio - they enrich lives through community partnerships including SPHERE of CT and Ridgefield Playhouse - the venue for their annual holiday performance of The Nutcracker.

Registration for classes and learn more is at ridgefielddance.org.

Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance is located at 440 Main Street in downtown Ridgefield.
