Santa T. Scaffidi
Santa T. Scaffidi, 100, of Danbury, formerly of Ridgefield and Pound Ridge, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2019. Ms Scaffidi was born in New York, NY on May 30, 1919; a daughter of the late Isidoro and Antonia (Settembrini) Scaffidi.
Ms. Scaffidi earned a Master's Degree from Columbia University. She worked as a Researcher and Statistician for Columbia University as well as the City and State of New York and the US Government. Ms. Scaffidi is survived by a sister, Mary V. LaTronica of California.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at 12:00 PM at St. Aloysius Church; 21 Cherry Street, New Canaan, CT. Interment will follow in Pound Ridge Cemetery. Kane Funeral Home, Ridgefield is in care of funeral arrangements.
