Congratulations to RVNAhealth employee extraordinaire Gigi Weiss, Director of Rehabilitation Services who has received the Healthcare at Home Innovation Award from the Connecticut Association for Healthcare at Home. She will be honored on October 25, 2019 at the Hartford Marriott Downtown during the largest member-gathering of home health care and hospice leaders in Connecticut.
Weiss’ commitment to transforming the lives of RVNAhealth patients through evolving and innovative practices, programs, approaches and services makes her beyond worthy of this esteemed award.
“During her decade-long tenure at the Ridgefield Visiting Nurse Association, Gigi Weiss, MSPT, CDP, CKTP, Director of Rehabilitation Services, has had a resounding theme forward progress, forward motion,” says RVNAhealth CEO, Theresa Santoro.
Under Weiss’ leadership, the in-home therapy and rehabilitation team has more than quadrupled. “Our patient count has multiplied; new programs, partnerships, and therapeutic modalities have been introduced; an outpatient therapy center has been built from the ground up; and clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and referrals are all excellent,” explains Santoro.
Opened in 2016, Rehab by RVNA has grown steadily, offering one-on-one customized plans and treating patients through their recovery and beyond.
