Ridgefield Scouts Test Thousands of Holiday Lights, Town Sparkles on Nov. 29

The bucket trucks have been spotted in downtown Ridgefield and holiday lights are being placed on the downtown Ridgefield trees in anticipation of the annual Tree Lighting on November 29 and the 20th Annual Holiday Stroll, December 6 and December 7.
 
On their Facebook Page, Downtown Ridgefield offered a big THANK YOU to Scouts BSA Troops 431 and 19. Members from those troops recently tested thousands of bulbs to assure they were in working order for the holiday season!

"Additional thank you to Ridgefield Hardware, Jerry Rabin, and Jennifer Rabin for donating the space for the testing, and Town Engineer Jake Muller," Downtown Ridgefield said.

As always, Holiday Trust Fund is in need of funds to help with the hanging of the lights, the garlands for the lampposts and the electric costs ~ which have been sliced-in-half with the addition of LED lights.
