Emerson College student from Ridgefield, Taylor Ranney honored as a Fall NEWMAC All-Academic Athlete
The Emerson College Athletic Department is proud to announce the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) All-Academic athletes for the fall of 2019.
Taylor Ranney was recognized as part of the Women's Cross Country team. Ranney, of Ridgefield, is a member of the Emerson College Class of 2020 and majoring in Media Arts Production.
In order to be an honoree, students must meet the following criteria: earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0 scale (or 4.35/5.0 scale after the 2019 spring semester), achieved second-year academic status at their institution, and been a member of the varsity team for the entire season.
Athletics teams honored included Men and Women's Soccer, Women's Cross Country, and Women's Volleyball.
