Services with Military Honors Planned for Ridgefield Resident Vincent Pelliccione, 86

Vincent Pelliccione, 86, of Ridgefield, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of the late Marjorie M. Pelliccione.
 
Mr. Pelliccione was born in Italy on September 6, 1933; a son of the late Giuseppe and Rosa (Mallozzi) Pelliccione. He attended Stamford High School, where he ran cross-country on the track team. Upon graduation, he married his high school sweetheart, Marjorie and entered the Army, proudly serving during the Korean Conflict.  
 
A longtime Ridgefield resident, Mr. Pelliccione developed the first medical building on Grove Street. He built many beautiful homes in Ridgefield and Stamford, during his long career as a builder and developer. He enjoyed boating and spending time in Charleston, RI and on Hilton Head Island, SC.  His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially spoiling his grandchildren with Carvel ice cream.
 
Mr. Pelliccione is survived by his children: Vincent J. Pelliccione and his wife, Denise of Redding; Rosemary Moreno of Beacon Falls; Victoria Piltz and her husband, Scott of Monroe and Donna Azzara and her husband, Michael, of Ridgefield.
 
He is also survived by eight grandchildren: Vincent, Michael, Heather, Megan, Jennifer, Nicholas, Laura and Zachery; eight great grandchildren: Grant, Alyssa, Arianna, Brandon, Ella, Emma, Aubrey and Sybil as well as a brother, Anthony Pelliccione, a sister, Alessandra Plank and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Pelliccione was predeceased by a brother, Benedetto Pelliccione; a sister, Sister Mary Pelliccione and a son in law, Antonio Moreno Jr.
 
Friends will be received on Monday, December 30, 2019 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Kane Funeral Home; 25 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday afternoon at 1:15 PM at St. Mary’s Church; 55 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield. Entombment with military honors will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Ridgefield.
