Ridgefield High School Dancer Christina Colin Wins Dance Scholarship

Wilton Dance Studio Team dancers win 1st place in Bridgeport

Christina Colin, a junior at Ridgefield High School, received a dance scholarship this past weekend for a fall convention from Groove Dance Competition.

The competition was a regional dance competition that was held at University of Bridgeport. Her dance was a memorial piece dedicated to her Uncle Bob (Robert), a police officer who died from complications from his efforts at the Twin Towers on 9/11.

Christina is a fiercely passionate dance student who despite having major back surgery several years ago, has become a gifted and award winning dancer.

The dance team that Christina is a member meets and trains at Wilton Dance Studio at 941 Danbury Road (rt 7) in Georgetown. Additionally this weekend the team group dance Roll Over Beethoven! a joyful celebration dance choreographed by Bella Randazzo won 1st place

Christina was also presented with a scholarship for a fall convention.
