Connecticut has 1012 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19, 607 in Fairfield County

As of March 26, 2020, a total of 1012 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported among Connecticut residents

Cases have been reported in all 8 Connecticut counties. Fairfield County has 607 confirmed cases, 49 hospitalizations and 13 deaths. The latest data reports Ridgefield as having 43 COVID-19 cases. This is fewer than reported yesterday by Ed Briggs. Perhaps the results were not yet confirmed by lab (we will find out).

Throughout the state, 125 patients were hospitalized, and 21 residents have died (13 in Fairfield County, 3 in Tolland County, 2 in Hartford County, 2 in New Haven County, and 1 in Middlesex County).
