THANK YOU to everyone that joined us virtually last night for our Youth Leadership Celebration! Although a little choppy, we are grateful we were able to celebrate our Club kids who worked so hard for this moment. Congratulations to all of our Gem Club, Torch Club and Keystone Club members, especially our award winners.
A special congratulations to all 17 of our Youth of the Year Candidates - we are so extremely proud of all of you! It has been an honor and a privilege to have you all be part of our BGCR family, and in our eyes, you are all winners.
But, there can only be one 2020 Youth of the Year, and we are extremely proud to announce the winner is Annie Cozens! Annie is a lifetime Club member, an original Mini-Member, starting when she was 5 years old, and never leaving. She is currently our Keystone Club President, and a member of our Junior Staff. Annie says “During a time where I believed that I didn’t have a purpose in my life, the Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield showed me that I did. A purpose to make the lives of others better, specifically Club members, so that they find their potential. They have provided me with infinite happiness, a second home, and have paved the path to my great future!”
