Is there a person or organization using creativity to provoke change in Ridgefield?
I am may be partial but would have to say the Ridgefield School System. Our teachers are working exceptionally hard to deliver instruction both in person and virtually under extraordinary conditions and keeping students and staff safe.
Any place in town where you go for inspiration and creativity?
Perhaps a walk down Main Street is my place to reflect, re-energize and revitalize. It gives me the opportunity to pass houses of worship, beautiful historical buildings, museums, storefronts, Art, restaurants and people. It reminds me why we chose Ridgefield 45 years ago and never had a moment’s regret.
Is there an organization in town that makes you feel good?
The Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield is a happy place. It is filled with children’s laughter. All ages gather to play, learn and grow. It is a great asset for our youth.

The ACT of Connecticut Theater! Although we are blessed with movies, concerts and entertainment in many venues, The ACT Theater brought Broadway (my favorite entertainment) to Ridgefield. The theater is amazing and every show we have seen is magical. The directors are also committed to “give back” to the community, as well.
How does creativity connect you to Ridgefield?
I love the creative culture alive and well in Ridgefield. I feel little need to go elsewhere when we have art, theater and music right in our backyard! And I keep up with all that is available through my favorite newsfeed, HamletHub, yet one more creative asset that keeps me connected!
