Sarah Bouissou Creates Gingerbread Version of The Ridgefield Playhouse, Complete with Smiley Face Emoji!

Gingerbread Home for the Holidays, a festive fundraiser for Lounsbury House with the Ridgefield Guild of Artists welcomes entries by 4pm today, Friday, November 20.

Community members are invited to create a gingerbread-styled version of a historic Ridgefield building. Here, Sarah Bouissou, owner of Bernard's and Sarah's Wine Bar, made a gingerbread version of The Ridgefield Playhouse, a nonprofit near and dear to Bouissou. She even included the Playhouse signature smiley face emoji, complete with a Santa hat!

With the help of generous sponsors, Karla Murtaugh Homes and Casey Energy, amazing gingerbread creations will be on window display at Lounsbury House November 27 – December 20. Don’t miss your opportunity to view and vote for your favorite while supporting this magnificent Ridgefield landmark!

Online voting begins Friday, November 27.

A donation of $25 per vote is required and you may vote as many times as you would like in support of your favorite gingerbread creation.

All proceeds benefit Lounsbury House community programming and historic preservation efforts.

All Gingerbread creations are due at the Lounsbury House today, November 20 at 4pm.
